Aaron Hynds is an Ohio-based low brass performer, composer, and proponent of contemporary music. His emphasis as a performer is in the reconciliation of standard performance practice on the instruments of the tuba family with the demands made by newly written compositions. To this end, he has made a point to perform works from across a wide spectrum of musical styles, purposefully shunning the boundaries between the new and old.
